Feeding the Birds??!!

Don't anyone start giving me a hard time like you did Heidi!! I know it has been over a week since I've posted anything. I won't be able to even catch up until Saturday or maybe the first of next week. We've got something going on every night this week and will have a really busy morning on Sunday.

Here's a little tale to keep you going until then...

Last night I was frantically running around the house getting ready, Grayson ready, dinner ready, and snacks together for small groups, and Trevor wasn't home. Grayson was supposed to be finishing his last bites of dinner as I blow dried the hair. I came back to the table to find his food all over the floor in little pieces!!! When asked what was going on, he sweetly and innocently said, "I'm feeding the birds, Mommy!" Like, duh, how could I have not seen the birds flocking at his feet waiting for a bite of his supper!! Hilarious! Well, as any good Mommy would do, I let out a big sigh and pointed in the direction of the hallway where he could go to find the vacuum claener to clean up the mess that the birds didn't eat. After all of that, we still got out the door on time with snacks in tow.

Cleaning up the mess the "birds" left

That IS pretty funny!! At least he did his part to clean up what the birds left!! It's a good imagination, Jayne! :)

That is the most precious story I've heard in awhile!!! I can totally see Bradley doing that. I hope he didn't learn any tricks from him when he was here:-0 He was just trying to entertain himself while he was patiently waiting for you to get ready or he was just didn't like what you made him and figured the birds would eat it.

I was about ready to fuss at you in the beginning part of your blog...I thought you said I gave you a hard time about not posting in awhile, but you were telling people to not fuss at you like they did me. HA!

Anyway, I'm with ya, I probably won't post either for awhile even tho I've got stories to tell, the time is just not there this week. Maybe when the kiddos are in bed, although I may be crashing early tonight. I hope you guys had a great time in Myrtle Beach. Can't wait to hear all about it!!!

I wish there really were little birdies that would come and clean up my floor after Erin eats. She's not trying to feed them, but it sure does look like it when she's done. Too Cute!

Adorable story. Funny how their little minds can be so grown up and yet so innocent at the same time. Good for Grayson cleaning up!

This blog is one for the archives :)
