Playdate

I called Sue this morning to see if Alexander could come over to play. Mondays are always lazy days where we sometimes stay in pjs well after noon hour! Well, Sue brought Alexander over to play just as Grayson and I put some other clothes on and brushed our teeth and hair!! Grayson loved showing him around seeing as it had been a while since Alexander had been over. They played great together until Cowboys and Indians. There was only 1 rubber-band gun and 1 little Grayson who got too upset when the "ones I wanted to shoot fell over" because his friend shot them dead! So bubble gum saved the morning and tears, and the boys moved on to the next activity.
NO-I didn't feed them something bad, they asked to make grumpy faces for the camera!
They did Play-doh, had snacks, played fire trucks, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Barney ring toss, Magnetix (which of course had to be seen under the rain tent because they glow in the dark!), cars and trucks, and I'm sure I've left something out. It was quite a morning. I think the highlight was building and playing trains with the Geo-Trax set. Grayson loves his trains and was showing Alexander what all the parts did. I think Alexander's favorite part was the airport, equipped with a flying cargo plane! By the time Sue came to get Alexander, we couldn't believe that a couple hours had passed. Thanks for a great morning Alexander, for showing us your crab (a real one at that!), adn sharing your special new bugs (or rats) with us. We'll do it again soon!

Checking the magnetix out under the rain tent!
